Executive Director
Ava recently graduated from the University of Maryland with a Bachelor’s in International Relations, with minors in Middle East History and Jewish History. She was formerly the editor-in-chief of Mitzpeh, UMD’s Jewish Student Newspaper. She is a writer, reader, and avid researcher of all things Jewish.
Education Director
Danielle is a Jewish educator living in Munich, Germany, dedicated to nurturing communities throughout Europe. She runs our vast network of women educators, recruiting people to learn and develop the resources TJU creates.
Founder
Dr. René Levy is a distinguished neuroscientist, author, and Professor Emeritus at the University of Washington. After a lifetime of research in neuroscience, he authored 3 books, exploring how primitive brain pathways fuel hatred and polarization. Dr. Levy provides the scientific and traditional frameworks that form the educational foundation of TJU.
